At 36 I was heartbroken and alone, in a foreign country, crying on the floor, staring into the abyss of a failed marriage and a string of wildly toxic relationships. Finally ready to look at how my deep desire for love had led me to lose myselF over and over and trying to be what I thought THEY wanted.
I was exhausted.I went, like Alice, down the rabbit hole of transformation: Plant Medicine, Tantra, Kundalini Yoga, Polarity, Somatic + Energy Healing, Therapy, Trauma + Shadow Work. I thought I’d done it ALL. I thought I was fully healed. but then I got married!
At first, it was EPIC…so easy, fun, HE SAW ME…and then SH*T GOT REAL, real quick. But this time I KNEW I was chameleon-ing, and I was NOT going to slowly shrink.
