What is Yoni?
The term Yoni originates from Sanskrit and is often translated as "womb," "source," or "sacred space." It represents the female genitalia and is considered a symbol of divine feminine energy, creativity, and life force in many spiritual traditions. In modern contexts, the word is used not only to refer to anatomy but also to honor and celebrate the sacredness of feminine power, sexuality, and the connection to creation.
What is Lingam?
The term Lingam comes from Sanskrit and is often translated as "pillar," "mark," or "sign." Traditionally, it symbolizes the male genitalia and represents divine masculine energy, creation, and consciousness. In spiritual traditions, the Lingam is revered as a sacred symbol of generative power and balance, often paired with the Yoni to embody the union of masculine and feminine energies in harmony and creation. In modern contexts, the term is used to celebrate and honor masculine sexuality with respect and sacredness.
